Description
The Cooled Incubator ST 2/2 is a versatile multi-chamber workstation designed by POL-EKO to maximize laboratory productivity and organization. By integrating two independent 150-liter incubators into one upright unit, the ST 2/2 provides the equivalent storage of two standalone ST 2 units while occupying significantly less floor space. This configuration is ideal for labs running concurrent projects, such as stability testing and microorganism breeding, that require different temperature setpoints.Dual-Zone Independence & AccuracyEach of the two chambers functions as a completely independent thermostatic environment with its own microprocessor PID controller and forced air convection system. This independence ensures that opening the door or changing the parameters of one chamber has no effect on the stability of the other. The standard temperature range is +3?C to +40?C, with an optional extension to +70?C (standard on Smart PRO models). Both chambers feature excellent temperature stability of $pm 0.3^{circ}C$ and an automatic defrosting function for long-term cooling efficiency.Controller & Connectivity TiersThe ST 2/2 can be equipped with either of POL-EKO?s advanced control systems for each chamber:Smart Controller: Features a 4.3-inch color touch screen, memory for 5 user programs, and integrated LAN/USB ports for data logging.Smart PRO Controller: Offers a premium 7-inch color touch screen, Wi-Fi connectivity, and advanced administrative functions, including 40-segment programming for complex profiles. Both interfaces are glove-compatible and feature the intuitive “Alarm Bar” for instant visual status monitoring of each zone.Premium Construction & SafetyBuilt for durability and hygiene, the ST 2/2 is available in Comfort (stainless steel DIN 1.4016 interior) or Premium (acid-resistant stainless steel DIN 1.4301 interior) versions. Standard features for each chamber include 3 stainless steel wire shelves (expandable to 4), individual physical door locks, and a ?30 mm access port. For specialized photostability or plant growth research, individual compartments can be fitted with the FOT photoperiodic system for day/night light simulation.
