Description
The POL-EKO DCL 1200 LM is part of the CompactLine series, engineered for laboratories that require high-level safety without a massive footprint. The primary advantage of the LM model is its internal lining made of Max Resistance phenolic resin composite. This material provides a highly durable, non-porous surface that resists a wide array of aggressive chemicals, though it is slightly less heat-resistant than the “CR” (Ceramic) version.
Advanced Airflow & Safety Features:
Double Rear Wall System: This design features exhaust slots at both the top and bottom of the chamber. It ensures that vapors lighter than air are extracted from the ceiling area, while heavier-than-air vapors are pulled through the bottom slots, eliminating “dead zones” and turbulence.
Safety Decompression Flap: An integrated ceiling flap acts as a safety valve, ensuring decompression in the event of an uncontrolled pressure increase within the working chamber.
Schneider Airflow Monitoring: The unit comes standard with a Schneider FM 550-A-0-E controller. It monitors face velocity in real-time, providing both visual and audible alarms if airflow drops below the safe threshold of 0.3?0.5 m/s.

Ergonomics and Build Quality: The fume hood is built from 1.5 mm galvanized steel finished with chemically resistant epoxy powder paint. The front sash is made of 4 mm tempered glass and operates on a counterweight system with a “Manual Protect” lock at 500 mm (max opening 810 mm) to prevent accidental closure. For added convenience, the hood includes integrated water taps and electrical sockets on the front pillars, keeping the work area uncluttered.

Primary Applications:
General Chemical Analysis: Handling volatile solvents, acids, and bases.
Pharmaceutical Research: Synthesis and testing where phenolic resin’s non-porous surface is beneficial.
Educational Labs: Robust enough for student use while providing high safety standards.
