Description
The CO2 Incubator ILC 180 is a specialized thermostatic solution engineered by POL-EKO for the most demanding cell culture applications. With a chamber capacity of 182 liters (135L working volume), this incubator utilizes natural air convection to protect delicate samples from the potential drying effects or cross-contamination risks associated with forced-air (fan) systems.
Precision Control & MonitoringThe ILC 180 maintains exceptional environmental stability through its advanced microprocessor PID control. It features a drift-free infrared (IR) CO2 sensor that remains accurate even after high-temperature sterilization. The chamber operates between +5?C above ambient and +50?C, while the CO2 levels can be adjusted from 0 to 20% with a recovery time of just 10 minutes after a 30-second door opening.
Advanced Safety & Contamination ProtectionTo ensure the highest standards of lab hygiene, the ILC 180 includes a built-in 180?C hot-air sterilization program, allowing users to fully decontaminate the chamber between experiments. The interior is crafted from acid-resistant stainless steel (DIN 1.4301) with rounded corners and smooth surfaces for effortless cleaning. The double-door system?featuring a solid outer door with a magnetic handle and a glass inner door?allows for sample viewing without disrupting the internal atmosphere.
Smart PRO Controller FeaturesThe unit comes standard with the Smart PRO controller, featuring a large 7-inch full-color touch screen that can be operated while wearing gloves. Key features include:
Connectivity: Built-in LAN, USB ports, and Wi-Fi for data transfer and remote monitoring via LabDesk software.
Data Management: Internal memory for programs, event registry, and tabular/graphic data preview.
Security: Password-protected login with multi-level user management (Admin/User).
Alarms: Visual and audible open-door and temperature-fail alarms with an instant-status “Alarm Bar.”
