Tabletop Fume Hood CompactLine DCL 1200

POL-EKO Tabletop Fume Hood CompactLine DCL 1200 The DCL 1200 Tabletop is a 1.2-meter wide bench-mounted fume hood designed for the safe handling of volatile and hazardous chemicals. It features a robust galvanized steel construction, a monolithic ceramic worktop, and a choice of internal linings (standard phenolic resin or optional ceramic). Equipped with a Schneider airflow monitoring system (EN 14175 compliant), dual-exhaust rear walls, and energy-saving LED lighting, it provides a professional-grade safety environment in a compact footprint. It includes a built-in ceramic sink and integrated water and electrical utilities.

Description

The POL-EKO DCL 1200 Tabletop is engineered for laboratories where floor space is at a premium or where specific bench heights are already established. Unlike the full-height floor models, this unit sits directly on a lab bench or a specialized heavy-duty frame, providing a spacious 1150 mm wide internal workspace.Customizable Internal Durability:Depending on your laboratory’s chemical profile, the tabletop model can be configured with various internal linings:Standard (Phenolic Resin/Laminate): Ideal for general chemistry and educational labs.CR Variant (Buchtal Ceramic): The “CR” version features large-size ceramic tiles for extreme resistance to concentrated acids and high thermal loads.5PP Variant (Polypropylene): Specifically designed for high-corrosion environments and work with hydrofluoric acid.Superior Safety and Monitoring:Airflow Management: The double back-wall system ensures that vapors?both heavy and light?are extracted efficiently from the working zone.6 This eliminates turbulence and prevents toxic fumes from escaping the sash opening.Digital Monitoring: It comes standard with the Schneider FM 550 airflow set.7 This system continuously measures face velocity and provides an audible and visual alarm if the airflow drops below the safe threshold ($0.3?0.5 text{ m/s}$), ensuring total compliance with EN 14175.Decompression System: A safety flap is integrated into the ceiling to provide pressure relief in the event of an accidental explosion or sudden pressure surge within the chamber.8Integrated Functionality:Despite its tabletop design, the DCL 1200 is a fully functional workstation. It comes equipped with a monolithic ceramic worktop with a raised marine edge to contain spills.9 A small ceramic sink (10$280 times 80 text{ mm}$) is suspended in the worktop, complemented by two BROEN water valves and two 230V electrical sockets mounted on the front service panels.11+1Primary Applications:Analytical Chemistry: Sample preparation and reagent handling.Education: High-school and university chemistry labs requiring EN-certified safety.Clinical Labs: Handling of volatile biological solvents and fixatives.Small-Scale Synthesis: Chemical reactions in pharmaceutical and industrial R&D.
