Description
The POL-EKO DCL 1800 LM is engineered for laboratories that require the largest possible footprint for intensive chemical analysis and synthesis. With a 1750 mm internal width, it provides ample space for large-scale glassware, rotary evaporators, or multiple reaction vessels. The phenolic resin lining is a high-performance composite that resists a vast range of aggressive laboratory chemicals, making it a reliable standard for pharmaceutical, petrochemical, and general research institutions.
Advanced Safety & Airflow Management:
Double Rear Wall System: To handle the large volume of the 1800 mm chamber, this system extracts air through both upper and lower slots. This effectively removes both light (rising) and heavy (sinking) vapors, preventing hazardous “dead zones” or air turbulence that could lead to contaminant escape.
Schneider Airflow Monitoring: Each unit is equipped with a Schneider FM 550-A-0-E controller. It provides real-time tracking of the face velocity and alerts the user via audible and visual alarms if the airflow becomes insufficient for safety.
+1
Manual Protect Sash: The tempered glass sash is balanced by a precision counterweight system for effortless movement. It features a safety mechanical lock at the 500 mm position to ensure optimal protection during work, with a maximum opening height of 810 mm.
+1
Superior Ergonomics and Build Quality: The unit is constructed from 1.5 mm galvanized steel (zero wood-based materials) and coated with chemically resistant epoxy powder paint. The standard monolithic ceramic worktop is chosen for its extreme durability and features a raised rim to manage liquid spills. It includes an integrated ceramic sink (250 x 95 mm), water spouts from BROEN with front-panel controls, and energy-saving LED lighting separated from the working chamber by a protective glass pane.
+1
Primary Applications:
Large-Scale Synthesis: Managing multiple flasks or reaction workstations simultaneously.
Analytical Chemistry: Housing large laboratory equipment such as automated samplers or chromatography systems.
Industrial QC: Daily heavy-duty testing of industrial chemicals.
Research & Development: Providing a safe, shared workspace for complex, multi-stage experiments.

Key Performance Highlights
-
Maximum Surface Area: The 1750 mm internal width provides the largest standard horizontal workspace in the CompactLine series, suitable for sprawling equipment or multiple simultaneous projects.
Â
-
Impact & Chemical Resistance: The phenolic resin (LM) lining is more mechanically robust than ceramic tiles (CR) and offers better resistance to a variety of solvents compared to epoxy-coated steel (SS).
-
Operator Protection: Integrated Schneider controls provide constant monitoring of face velocity, ensuring the hood operates within safe safety parameters (typically 0.3 – 0.5 m/s).
