The Cooled Incubator ST 2 is a professional-grade thermostatic solution from POL-EKO, engineered to maintain precise temperature conditions regardless of ambient laboratory fluctuations. With its 150-liter chamber capacity, the ST 2 is a popular choice for laboratories performing BOD5 tests, seedling germination, and the storage of chemical reagents or vaccines.
Temperature Stability & ControlThe unit features a microprocessor-based PID controller and forced air convection with adjustable fan speeds to ensure rapid temperature recovery and high uniformity throughout the chamber. While the standard Smart controller provides a range of +3?C to +40?C, upgrading to the Smart PRO controller extends the maximum temperature to +70?C. The ST 2 also includes an automatic defrosting function and comprehensive alarms for temperature sensor failure and open doors.
User-Friendly InterfaceDepending on your laboratory’s data management requirements, the ST 2 is available with two controller options:
Smart Controller: Features a 4.3-inch color touch screen, memory for 5 user programs, and USB/LAN ports for data transfer.
Smart PRO Controller: Offers a larger 7-inch color touch screen, Wi-Fi connectivity, and advanced administrative functions with multi-level user access and 40-segment programming.Both interfaces are designed for operation with gloves and include a quick-status “Alarm Bar.”
Quality ConstructionThe ST 2 is built for durability, featuring an interior made of stainless steel (DIN 1.4016) for the Comfort model or acid-resistant stainless steel (DIN 1.4301) for the Premium model. Standard equipment includes 3 stainless steel wire shelves (expandable to 4), a physical door lock, and a ?30 mm access port for external monitoring equipment.
