Description
The KKS 700 FIT P is a premier “Mixed” climatic solution from POL-EKO, designed for users who require large-volume environmental simulation without the vibrations or ultrasound emissions associated with ultrasonic humidifiers. The KKS series uses a closed-boiler steam generator, making it uniquely suited for entomology and sensitive biological studies where ultrasonic noise could interfere with specimen development. The “FIT P” configuration utilizes overhead lighting panels to provide consistent vertical illumination across the chamber’s five available shelf levels.
Superior Climate & Light Control The KKS 700 FIT P provides a robust and versatile environment for research:
Temperature & Humidity: It offers a stable range of 0?C to +60?C (lights off) and +10?C to +50?C (lights on). Its steam humidification system allows for lower humidity levels (10% RH) than standard units, which is critical for specialized aging and desiccation tests.
Integrated Water Management: The unit features a built-in Reverse Osmosis (RO) system, allowing it to be connected directly to a tap water supply. The water is purified internally before being converted into steam, reducing maintenance and preventing scale buildup.
Phytotron Lighting (FIT P): Standard models use daylight fluorescent tubes (840 type), but the unit can be customized with LED modules (Deep Red, Blue, Far Red). Light intensity is dimmable in 10% increments, allowing for the simulation of sunrise, sunset, and specific photoperiods.
Smart PRO Controller & Compliance The chamber is equipped with the top-tier Smart PRO dashboard, featuring:
7-inch Color Touch Screen: A clear, glove-friendly interface for programming up to 40 user programs with 100 segments each.
Connectivity: Integrated Wi-Fi, LAN, and USB ports. The LabDesk software (included) allows for remote monitoring, data downloading, and the generation of reports for GLP/GMP compliance.
+1
Security: Features include an Alarm Bar for visual status alerts, password-protected logins, and a detailed event registry that logs all user interactions.
Heavy-Duty Construction The interior is built from acid-proof stainless steel (DIN 1.4301) to handle constant humidity. The double-door system (solid outer door with a lock and an internal glass door) ensures minimal atmospheric disruption during sample inspection. The unit sits on heavy-duty castors with brakes and includes a ?30 mm access port on the left side for external sensors.
