Description

The ST 2 / ZLN 85 is a premier multi-chamber device from POL-EKO, specifically designed to maximize laboratory efficiency and space. By stacking a high-precision cooled incubator (ST) directly above a dedicated laboratory freezer (ZLN), this unit provides a total capacity of 235 liters while occupying the floor space of a single upright appliance. This configuration is widely used in microbiology, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical labs where researchers need immediate access to frozen biological materials for their incubation protocols.

Independent Dual-Zone Performance

The unit features two entirely separate thermostatic environments, each with its own microprocessor PID controller:

Upper Chamber (ST 2): A 150-liter cooled incubator with forced air convection, offering a standard range of +3?C to +40?C. It is designed for BOD determination, microbiological tests, and stability studies.

Lower Chamber (ZLN 85): An 85-liter laboratory freezer with natural air convection, providing a stable storage temperature from -25?C to 0?C. It is ideal for the long-term storage of samples, reagents, or vaccines.

Smart Control and Connectivity

Users can customize the unit with either of POL-EKO?s intuitive control systems:

Smart Controller: Features a 4.3-inch color touch screen, memory for 5 user programs, and integrated LAN/USB ports for data transfer.

Smart PRO Controller: Offers a premium 7-inch color touch screen, Wi-Fi connectivity, multi-user management, and an alphanumeric keyboard for complex, multi-segment time-temperature programming.Both controllers include an Alarm Bar for instant visual status updates and are designed for operation with gloves.

Robust Construction & SafetyThe unit is built for durability with a choice of Comfort (stainless steel DIN 1.4016) or Premium (acid-resistant stainless steel DIN 1.4301) interiors. The ST 2 / ZLN 85 comes standard with 3 wire shelves in the incubator and 2 wire shelves in the freezer. For security, both doors are equipped with physical locks. Additional safety features include an open-door alarm and over-temperature protection.
